My wife had to deal with a pretty nasty battle between her and her ex over their children. After much searching my wife found Rebecca. In my dealings with her I found that Rebecca actually cared about what happened with my wife and her situation. She fought hard to ensure my wife got what she wanted and we weren’t “”left out in the cold”” when it came to my step kids. Rebecca also worked with us financially, which allowed us to not only use her valuable skills but also not sink into debt while doing so. She goes against the old thought that all attorneys are only out for money and will do anything for it. She is a truly remarkable human being and a tenacious lawyer. She is very knowledgeable, experienced, caring and loyal. She is always straight forward and honest with you, even if you don’t want to hear it. This is a remarkable and amazing facet of her practice that most lawyers don’t have. If something is not attainable she lets you know, and never promises you anything she can’t deliver. This is the absolute worst attorney service. I would not recommend them to anyone. My case went on for 18 months after being told it would quick and easy. I was appointed 3 different attorneys, and charged hours and hours for each of them to get up-to-date with my case. I eventually circled back to the original appointed attorney after about 1 year. They never did anything without me having to request, push, or remind them about my case. I eventually realized everything they did was basically what I did myself. I requested a withdrawal of counsel, and it took them 5 months to close and pay out my retainer balance. They also took every opportunity to charge me for all sorts of nonsense for the withdrawal. The firm may have decent attorneys, but it is by far the worst run business I have ever dealt with.

Rebecca is a very direct and intense personality. She does not sugar coat, and can be abrasive at times. Underneath these personality traits is a genuine heart and desire to get the best possible results for her clients. Without question we would use Rebecca for a custody case again. She has the rare attribute of having enough humility to admit her faults and move past conflict to create a successful team effort. Despite our setbacks we were successful with a custody hearing out of state, with the father getting full custody. This is an enormous victory and we are thrilled with how much dedicated effort Rebecca gave us, as well as her thoroughness in acquiring the correct documentation and filtering out the excess. Rebecca is a tender hearted and caring attorney, but maintains the bulldogedness necessary to be effective and successful.
