I retained Mr Ugo a year ago to help me file immigration docs. A year later I learned through USCIS that he has not followed up with proper filing. Sadly Mr Ugo lacks the professionalism to follow up with the services he offers. Now a year later I had to hire another group of lawyers so they can finish the job this guy ” forgot” to do. I retained Mr. Ugeh to represent my son in June of 2020… beings that my son was detained in prison I was the one that he was communicating with.. I explained to him-what I needed done and that it was imperative that my son be returned home to Philadelphia.. I told him other lawyers where charging a very high price for a job that I was told was very easy.. I also explained to him that he absolutely had to stay on top of my sons councilor because they are notorious for trying to mess up an inmates re-entry…. he sounded very nice but after taking a few says to decide if he could do this he called me back and gave me the astronomical price that the other lawyers gave me, but I agreed.. he then asked for my sons record in New York and asked for the PUBLIC DEFENDERS information that represented him 7 years ago… again I thought both of those things where very strange since this now is his job to get but ok I agreed.. I gave him my sons record but had no clue of the public defender.. needless to say I hired him 4 months before my sons release due to inter state compact taking awhile which I explained as well… june15th was his hire date… the end of July still NOTHING was done… ok, I thought , I’m sure he knows what he’s doing so it’s fine… middle of August… still nothing is done and no papers at all to be found… I explained to him again that he has to absolutely stay on top of this councilor to make sure he submitted papers! Me. Ugeh texts me and asks me for more money because he is going to visit my son… ok … another 1500$ I send… he drives to see my son.. spends 15 minutes inside and leaves …He texts me and tells me that papers where submitted so now we wait! End of august…. nothing was done and no papers to be found… beginning of September nothing was done and no papers to be found! I decide that this is not ok and I get on the phone and make 2 calls and send out 2 emails.. with in 2 hours I get calls and emails back from all the people Mr. Ugeh claims he just could not get a hold of including my sons councilor.. what I was told blew my mind.. the council submitted paper August 10th but did them all wrong of course.. the senior officer at the New York parol requested them fixed and returned that day.. the councilor ignored the request… September 2nd another request was sent and the councilor ignored that one.. I call on September 4th and tell him I know what he’s doing and to get it done… he resubmits papers that day but guess what? Completely wrong once again of course they where… the PA office did not receive these papers until September 14th… here’s the thing… I asked Mr. Ugeh if he knew any of this and why he was not on top of this because it took me only 2 hours to find this out.. his answer… no he did not know this but this is the councilors fault… uuuummm yep it is but it’s your fault for not checking up on the status of all of this paper work! Mr. Ugeh seemed like a very nice person however he took my money and did absolutely nothing! I did all the work to get this interstate compact approved and pushed thru! When I terminated him and requested my money returned he agreed that I was owed money back.. but now a month or more later he will not return any of my emails, texts, calls.. he has just disappeared! Also he never ever once gave me a receipt for services and never gave me a break down of what the money was spent on and never gave me a break down of the work he did.. Please be careful if you hire Mr UGEH.. please stay on top of him and please do not give him money until he shows you proof of the things he is doing! I got screwed royally and am now out 4000$ during a pandemic and have also lost my entire business due this pandemic… there are too many people doing slimy things for money right now.. please be careful when u hire this attorney! I’ll be reporting him to the bar association
