Andy did an outstanding job with my case and was not only professional and responsive, but would check in on me from time to time to see how I was doing. He was an absolute shark when it came to fighting for what I deserved and yet compassionate to how I was feeling. Even after the case was resolved he went above and beyond. Attorney Cates is an excellent attorney! Cates was referred to me by a family member he represented and beat a life sentence. He saved my life as well. I was facing some serious jail time, but Cates presented a great case and fought for my freedom till the end. I remember early in my case I told Cates “if I get jail time its ok I can handle it”… he immediately corrected me and said “I never fight to lose, my goal is win this case”! When he said that I knew I was in good hands. He gave me the strategy, resources and plan to effectively present my case and move the prosecution to give me probation over a lengthy jail sentence.
