Horrible firm. I paid them to subpoena the defendant and on the deadline last day to do it, I called them, and they still had not even attempted once to subpoena the defendant. I had to find someone myself to do it and make sure it was done. They forgot to sign a form and they told me that the lawyer did not have any email access at home, which is complete bs, just because they wanted to charge me more for meeting in person instead of through email. They wrote incorrect addresses and mispelled names on forms. I pretty much did everything myself, while they got paid for me doing their job. Then they switched me lawyers, and wanted to charge me to meet with the new lawyer even though they were the ones who switched lawyers, not me. The new lawyer was clearly incompetent as much as the paralegals were also incompetent, so I fired this law firm. The law firm told me it would take 45 days for a refund. It has been 50 days and they havent even begun to process my refund. Worst law firm company ever. Do not hire them.

To anyone thinking of using this law firm PLEASE DON’T!!! I LOST 3 YEARS OF MY CHILDREN’S LIVES BECAUSE OF SCHANK AND ASSOCIATES!! This is only a place go when a lawyer doesnt have a job! When I first started using this law firm I was assigned a good attorney. But like I said this was only a place for when they are looking for bigger and better things collects a paycheck . Every time I checked on my case there was a different attorney that was just starting and had to review and catch up on my case. In the mean time i was being billed for those hour’s. THIS IS LIKE THE HOME DEPOT OF LAW OFFICES! When you go in and ask for help, no one knows what you are talking about or what to do! This is only a door for lawyers and will only waste tour time and money. Please do your research and use a reputable firm that has had the same attorneys for longer than 3 months, which seam to be the average time span for most. At the end when I finally got out the paralegal was pretending to be my attorney after they had quit 1 month earlier! This place should be ashamed of even trying to be a law firm!! The only reason I put a star on this was to post this.
