I wish I could rate him ZERO. He started off in a very professional way, at the same time very personal level. However, once the Dissolution of Marriage court order was issued, he had gotten slower and slower in taking care of distribution of marital asset process. I was the one to pay my ex from my bank account and from my 401K. I had to keep pushing him and following up for him to give me direction what to do next every step of the way. The final court order was issued in APR 2018 and 401K money transfer just took place in MAR 2019. I did my part and submit what he needed really fast, but he would not reciprocate it in the same way, knowing that all I wanted was to pay what I had to in order to close this case as soon as possible and move on. I cannot remember how many calls and e-mails I’ve made and sent to his office meantime. Every time I got through to his secretary, she said the document had not been reviewed yet because his wife’s family emergency, his medical procedure and he is in the court all day. I do not remember how many times I was told that the paperwork was on his desk, he just needed to review and sign it. If you were told so over and over, you do not know what to believe any more. It’s too bad that I see him at the church once or twice a week. I understand that he is trying to be a better follower of the church, however, I have no clue what kept him from signing my paperwork for months!! I had no intention to bring personal matter to his attention when we were at the church, and what I saw and felt from him was his effort to completely ignore my presence there. I would not recommend him because his lack of responsibility as a lawyer, his lack of empathy for his clients, and his lack of explanation of the reason for the delay of the work to me, and his lack of common sense as a person. People, please find other lawyer to work for you. Because of the above reasons and other reasons I did not mention here, I do not and I cannot trust and recommend him.

Had 2 phone conversation initiated and scheduled by Mr Baugh’s office with him in which his office managed to mishandle the scheduled time but then during each conversation, Mr. Baugh chastised me for the schedule issues and asked only “what can I do for you” very rudely. Mr. Baugh had the calls scheduled to discuss things and was asking me what as if I had requested a call and during both calls seemed to have no clue about my case, asked for information I had already provided, and said “well let me look through your file” and never did dicuss the subject his office brought up in the original email requesting an appointment for a phone call. I’m not sure who had shown me more disrespect, the man I am attempting to divorce or my lawyer, Paul Baugh! Long story short, I’ve no idea how much I’m even being charged for having only initial paperwork filed, a provisional order I did not ask for but have yet to even be able to obtain the items the courts have granted me no less than 5 weeks later, but he seems very accommodating to my defendant’s schedule.HIRED & FIRED.
