Ripped me off. Lazar Charged me 3500 for a little misdemeanor charge and told me he charges 5000 but was giving me a deal. Told me he would plead me not guilty and there will be no court fines. The day of court he changed his mind and told me to plead guilty and I ended up getting 6 months of probation, 1000 dollar court fine, and 32 hours of community service. I was 19 years old and should have talked to a couple different lawyers about it but I didn’t and put my trust into the wrong person.

I hired him when I was 21 (I’m about to turn 30 now) I hired him for a traffic ticket because a family friend knew him and recommended him. Huge mistake that I’m still paying for now. He said he would accept $1800. I had an extra car and sold it to be able to hire him. He didn’t follow the case through to the end and he also lied to me about numerous things. He told me there would only be a fine, and months later I got a phone call from Saginaw County stating I had to do house arrest for two months, in their country. I lived in Ogemaw County. They forced me to move my children to their county to do house arrest, or they would put me in jail. Another time, I went Saginaw County to pick up a copy of the original ticket, for my records, and they ” accidentally” put me in jail. For 6 HOURS! My Father came looking for me and they told him to leave and threatened to arrest him too. A Sheriff came in 6 hours later and apologized for the ” mixup” and made them let me out. Then, 4 years later, I’m driving with my son, I’m pulled over because my turn signal didn’t work correctly, and the next thing I know I’m being transported back to Saginaw County because they said I never paid the ticket almost 5 years prior… made bail, went to court and the judge apologized and said the cost actually owed me money as my account was overpaid. Never saw the refund I was promised. Then in 2015 Dennis Lazar sued me, claiming that I had never paid the fee to retain him…. My Father had saved the receipt for me and we couldn’t locate it after so many years unfortunately. I had a witness who was with me when I hired and paid Dennis Lazar, and who heard him tell me that the account was paid in full. I brought the witness to court and the judge refused to let him speak. The judge also didn’t believe I had already paid Mr Lazar. So now I’m stuck paying DOUBLE for extremely terrible services. And throughout this entire ordeal Mr Lazar was no where to be found, was never present at court, won’t respond to phone calls. Of course.
