As a person, Melissa was very nice initially. As a divorce attorney, she’s the worst I’ve experienced after experiencing 5 total between my ex and I. Melissa didn’t incorporate a stipulation for my children’s college funds into my final divorce decree which is malpractice …among countless other issues. I asked her to return some of her attorneys fees because this was her error – she refused and was beyond rude when I asked. I can’t afford to hire a malpractice attorney so this error has cost me/my children $50k+. I would never recommend Melissa to anyone after she botched my entire divorce. I’ve been in litigation for 3 years post divorce because there are so many errors in my divorce decree as wel.
