I give this firm 5 stars, “loved it,” not because I “loved” being in the legal system, but because in contrast to other lawyers and law firms I’ve dealt with in the past, I loved how I was treated from the beginning. I needed some help with several issues regarding my children and my ex wife and contacted the firm based on a recommendation of a friend of mine. I was able to set up an appointment with Josh Wohl very quickly. Over the phone he was very clear about what sort of documentation I should bring to the office when we met to maximize the use of our time. When I did finally meet him, he was kind, considerate, thorough, and non-judgmental of my situation. He told me very clearly what was likely to happen in the courtroom, what we could do to mitigate the worst outcomes,and offered me several resources that proved invaluable as i proceeded through my case. Josh was there with me in court, was always quick to respond to my requests for information, and kept me appraised of any developments with opposing counsel. I was always treated with the utmost respect and courtesy. I also very much appreciated the approach Josh took to my case- he really cared about achieving the best outcome, not only for me, but for my kids as well. In addition, billing was always clear- I understood all the charges and never once did I see any charge for anything questionable. Josh was completely straight about everything he did- that seems a rare quality in most lawyers. God willing, I will never need legal services again, but should it become necessary, I would without hesitation work with Josh again and would want him in my corner to help me through the process.

Michal was hired as the CFI (Child Famiy Investigator) in my case. The case was very highly contested, and involved dueling states (Colorado and California.) This was no small task as she had to sift through 7 months of prior motions, as well as two people who were both seeking to be the custodial parent (Father living in Colorado and Mother living in California.) There were also abuse allegations that needed to be investigated and taken into serious consideration. These allegations were against me, the father. There was also an absconding mother who never returned with my daughter. Every legal professional I spoke to consistently referred to my case as “extremely complex.”
