In life, for me it is not so much about what you do (which is important) but how you make people feel. I genuinely felt valued from Lillie. Lillie was kind, patient, efficient, thorough, and down to earth. I appreciate how she stepped in (after an unpleasant experience with someone else) and took off handling our adoption. Despite there being many attorneys, finding the one best suited to represent you can be stressful, but it can also be very rewarding. The attorney you choose to represent you, and be your advocate, will have a major impact on the ultimate outcome of your case. We knew nothing about family law, as it pertains to child custody. We chose Sarah Privette to represent us. She was outstanding, and we felt that we needed to give her kudos for helping us have a very positive experience and a great outcome. Sarah is a good communicator, very competent, keeps you informed, and has an excellent knowledge of the law. She has very high integrity, which is paramount. While I cannot speak for the entire firm, my experiences with Ms. King were awful! Ms. King did not reply to requests for updates on my case and from what I could see did nothing but cost me valuable time. When she did reply, it was with a curt statement about why she was out of the office. For the cost of her services, I think someone could have told me before she spent two weeks being unresponsive. I only got a response after contacting a partner. This response was not helpful, but combative! I have waited over 30 days for my balance to be returned to me, but as of yet have not received it. Use caution if considering Ms. King for such an important procedure such as a divorce.
