I hired Mr. Massey some years back and I can tell you it was a complete waste of both time and money as he only did half of what he said he would do (and I don’t mean he tried and wasn’t successful, he simply didn’t do what we discussed and he said he would do) but he sure had no problem taking my money. Hire Mr. Massey at your own risk but don’t expect good results, unless your related to him or his partner as there seem to be positive reviews written by both Massey and Duffy family members. That in and of itself should tell you all you need to know about these lawyers.

Very unprofessional attorney! A consultation was set up, so we drove 75 one way to meet with this man concerning an issue in which my fiance was terminated from her full time job for being placed off of work for 8 days by her family doctor. We had already done some leg work, and were told by several State of Florida labor depts. that this move on behalf of the employer was indeed “Unlawful Termination”. This attorney refused to look at the detailed documentation that had been prepared by our family doctor, instead he made crude statements to my fiance, and in now way discussed the details of her case. He onlh wanted to make unprofessional, unethical, vulgar statement towards my fiance, while all along telling her she didnt have a case. I have personally studied Florida Statutes enough on my own to determine that we no only had an Unlawful Termination case, but documented Retaliation issues by the employer leading up to the terminatn itself! This would have actually turned into a larger, more substantial case. This all happened around 1:30PM on Sept 27, 2017.. and although it was the middle of the day…the office was very dark, quiet, and in the 15 minutes period in which we were there…the phone did not ring one time! The attorneys hair and overall apperance seemed very unkept, almost to the point that we questioned ourselves as to whether or not the attorney, Mr. Massey, was intoxicated or not. I would highly recommend staying as far away from this “law professional” as possible. The appearence of the inside of the office alone is enough to make anyone with basic commonsense take a second look at who they would be considering to have represent them in the public eye, and the added outright disrespectful attitude toward a potential female client is absolutley absurd! Mr. Massey refused to allow myself into the 3 minute conaultation whatsoever! We have since decided to report this attorneys behaviour to the State of Florda. We feel its best to allow this mans peers to pass judgement on his choice of actions against a female seeking his help….all whole refusing to allow another male, being myself into the room! BEWARE! PROCEED WITH CAUTION! ESPECIALLY SINGLE FEMALES! HISBANDS AND/OR FIANCES ARE NOT ALLOWED!!

I’ve contacted his office now about 2 separate cases that he has been unable to help with, all dealing with workplace discrimination and defamation. The first case the company settled out of court. His words today, “I should’ve contacted him when they were trying to settle”… For what? For him to reap the benefits of all the hard work that myself and EEOC had done. Called it back and got a very, ‘uninterested’ and almost sleepy response from the receptionist who simply confirmed if I’d gotten my email. When I finally got her to respond to my question regarding the particular service, she vaguely said, “Of course, Mr ____ will review and see….” And an oh by the way it’s a $25.00 up front consult fee – NOT face to face.
