My parents have been going here for over a decade. I have been going for at least 9 years. My mom dropped my and my wife’s tax docs off at the office (as she always does), and walked into the office and handed them directly to the receptionist. From there, our tax documents disappeared and they claimed they never received them. I found out 3 weeks later after reaching out for an update. We were shocked and concerned when we found out, and started scrambling to get our documents over to the office again to still use their business despite what happened. They confirmed that my and my wife’s private, sensitive and secure financial information is not in their office. There’s no explanation for what happened to them. My mom went into the office and I called to get a better explanation and instead they tried blaming us. They were so rude to my mom so she left her own review. Once they saw it, they refused to finish filing our taxes. We now worry about late penalties and finding another accountant.

Unless you like burning your money up do not get your taxes done here. Just got a letter from the IRS stating we overpaid $2300 in 2013, but since it happened over 3 years ago ,tough luck. We switched preparers in 2016 I am so disappointed in myself for not doing it sooner

I have used Matrix Tax Services for years and and have always been very happy with their service, not anymore. I dropped my son and daughter in law’s tax paperwork off for them, and they claim they never received them. Not only that, they were suggesting maybe we lost the paperwork, or never dropped it off! It’s been 3 weeks! So very unprofessional and unacceptable service. I will never use them again!
