Critical: Quality, ResponsivenessDealing with family court. Mr. McMann did fairly well during the first initial divorce. During a second modification HE let the former wife’s lawyer run all over me in front of him. That lawyer said some inappropriate things and nasty things. Enough for me to get in his face and shut them up. He is dead now. Mark did NOTHING during this. Needing him again. I wrote on the 16th of Aug. Waiting until 25 Aug 2021 to make contact as I had not heard from him. Was contacted by his paralegal Denise (hard worker!) and she stated she would forward the information to him. Today is 3 Sep 2021. Nothing has be heard. I notified them today I will no longer need their services.Dealing with family court. Mr. McMann did fairly well during the first initial divorce. I hired this law firm to help with my child support case. I selected him because of his military background and thought he will understand my case a little bit more. I already had a court order for support from several years ago but needed help reinforcing the support. I was charged 1800.00 for filing the paperwork to the court. I had to send the paperwork back and forth to my child’s father to sign. The paralegal is awesome because that’s who I spoke with more the Mr. McMann. I felt it was a waste of my money for the work I had to do instead of them plus the payment is still not garnish from his wages or tax return.

Mark saw me and my family for a custody case. He gave us false hope and what seemed very little effort. We saw him multiple times in what came to feel like us checking in on him. When he finally did make a major move in our case, we were set for a hearing, he cancelled it without notice or reason. When we met with him to see why it became clear why. He did not treat us with consideration , respect or fairness. He did not treat our case with the same urgency and attention that we had wished. We switched to Sessums Law Group who won our case, every appeal and subsequent hearing. When your lawyer gives you excuses about why he can’t do something, switch. McMann law is not worth what we almost lost.

I would not recommend Mark McMann P.A. to anyone for any legal issues. I hired to handle a simple time-sharing cases, which i had already submitted all the require legal documents to get the case present to the judge. As the case progressed, Mark McMann . and his staff quickly became difficult to contact via phone when I needed updates on the case. They either returned calls several days later or not at all. During the case, I had also set up several phone consultations with dates and times. Mark McMann never followed through with any of them. Also, the Florida Bar states McMann P.A. was disciplined and fined by the Florida bar on 6/21/17 for a DUI-driving under the influence, (which he plead guilty in court) and received from the Florida Bar one year probation, fines and court costs.
