It was quite a shock on my end to hear today Mr. Melnik is not in Trust and Planning business anymore for like a year. With my pre-paid and unfinished Trust registration I got confused a lot. Upon attending his meeting I’ve heard his promise to help all his Trust customers for the rest of his life if certain questions or even problems gonna occurred. Now I’ve been told attorney Melnik has moved to medical malpractice law segment and does not deal with Trusts anymore. After his service such extensive advertisement on Russian radio giving promises to take care about all his customers I found myself with 1 pound of papers , nice looking plastic folder and minus $4,500.00 from my pocket.Amazing.

A couple of years ago I hired the Melnik Law Group to create a Trust. My initial consultation was with Steven Melnik. He was very attentive, listened to my situation, and then – made some specific recommendations and transferred me to the trusted hands of his assistants. They, in turn, told me in detail how the trust creation process proceeds and in what time frame I could expect it to be completed. The face-to-face and phone conversations with the office staff were professional and pleasant. They answered my many questions clearly, in great detail and made necessary adjustments to future steps. I would like to say a special thank you to Gayane Galstyan who worked on my case extensively. She is exceptionally professional! I always found her to be incredibly attentive, tactful, polite and patient.If she wasn’t able to answer my call and I left a message, she gave me a call back almost immediately. Any time that I would call her or stop by the office, she knew exactly what was going on with my case. As a result, all the documents were collected and signed on time. I have dealt with a lot of legal professionals over the years.This is easily one of the worst law firms that I have ever had the displeasure of doing business with.Melnik Law Group advertises itself based on their expertise in law and accounting. I wouldnt know if they really have this expertise because once Melnik Law Group had my money they refused to answer any legal questions I had regarding the services they were supposed to provide. They effectively treated me as a stranger, not as a client.Melnik himself will be happy to show you his resume and his education credentials. Dont be fooled. Melnik’s education credentials are meaningless – it is as if they dont exist – if he is not using them to provide you with the legal assistance you need. If you are considering using Melnik Law Group, I would advise you to find someone else.

They run a Medicaid fraud scheme. They use aggressive sales tactics to prey on retired people in the Russian community who don’t know the law and often don’t speak English and don’t have anyone else to turn to.My aunt went to see them with some Medicaid questions. Someone had given her a referral and she went for a free consultation.After an educational seminar (a hard pitch and a way to save lawyer costs), they used aggressive sales tactics like Pay now because prices will double tomorrow to sell her a compex legal mechanism based on trusts, which she doesn’t understand and doesn’t need.They were able to prey on her state of confusion and fear about losing Medicaid to make her part with almost $4,000!!! which is all of her savings from many years. And she can’t get out of this without paying a $1,000 cancellation fee, even within 24 hours of signing.
