Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, ValueI can’t even begin to express how bad of an experience it was for me having Clay as my attorney. Not only does he not return phone calls, emails, or voicemails, but he wouldn’t communicate with me until the morning before court. I expressed the stress his lack of communication added to an already very stressful situation, and he never acknowledged nor showed any ounce of empathy or care. No one ever wants to have to take things to court, but to be represented so poorly, there was no way I could continue with him as my attorney. I wouldn’t wish this experience on my worse enemy. Luckily, I was able to find someone else to represent me. But unfortunately it cost me. None of the terminology was explained, I basically had an attorney who was present for court only and I had to figure things out for myself. I’m sure anyone who needs to take any situation to court has a fear of being represented poorly or just treated as though you’re just another case. This all was so new and scary to me, you would think the least an attorney would do is provide reassurance, keep you in the loop of what’s happening and what’s to come, and just help you in whatever legal aspect you hired them for. Reading these reviews are vital. I can’t even begin to express how bad of an experience it was for me having Clay as my attorney. Not only does he not return phone calls, emails, or voicemails, but he wouldn’t communicate with me until the morning before court. I expressed the stress his lack of communication added to an already very stressful situation, and he never acknowledged nor showed any ounce of empathy or care. He was very unprofessional in handling my case as trying to get him to respond to you is a nightmare, he has no understanding of the IPTG. I paid him in January 2020 to file multiple motions that he never cared to file even though I asked multiple times. July came around and the other party filed a motion and claimed he couldn’t file my motion for retroactive support because he let me get railroaded in an agreement that I did not want to agree to and he knew it we had a hearing that day for this stuff but rather do an agreement instead of go to court in front of a judge that I paid him to do.. He did not fight for the best interest of my child at all and proceeded to tell me he felt bad for the other party and that if I didn’t agree to what the other party was asking I would lose my child, which I have a witness to this horrendous behavior. DO NOT use him as your lawyer as he will let other lawyers do there thing while making a quick buck off of you in your already most vulnerable time. I wasn’t going to leave a review but I figured I’d save someone else’s heart and wallet as since this agreement nothing has gotten better and here almost a year later I’m having to seek counsel again because of high conflict situation, that Mr. Morgan was fully aware of before taking on my case.I hired Mr. Morgan for a custody situation. I hired Mr. Morgan for a custody situation. He was very unprofessional in handling my case as trying to get him to respond to you is a nightmare, he has no understanding of the IPTG. I paid him in January 2020 to file multiple motions that he never cared to file even though I asked multiple times. Paperwork is error-riddled EVERY time. He had a chance to win my case at the outset and just twisted cluelessly in the wind when the judge offered him an opening. Had ZERO influence over guardian ad litem — didn’t even try. Tried to bill me in advance of a court hearing, threatening to withdraw before the hearing (which never happened). He had a chance to win my case at the outset and just twisted cluelessly in the wind when the judge offered him an opening. Had ZERO influence over guardian ad litem — didn’t even try.
