The team at Murphy & Berglund were very helpful in guiding me through probate for a loved one’s estate. Previously they had assisted me with my own estate planning and also provided elder care resources to assist with another family member. They are experienced and can assist with a wide variety of elder care benefits, estate planning and probate needs.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI am not sure how Michelle Berglund Harper is as an attorney, but as a Guardian as Litem, I have to say is one of the worst I have encountered. She has no ability to objectively take on a neutral role, as she is supposed to do as a GAL. She is very quick to form opinions with no investigation and extremely ignorant. She forgets to look out for the best interest of the vulnerable by picking a side and most likely because she has a relationship with their attorney. She is one of the absolute worst GAL I have ever come across. I am not sure how Michelle Berglund Harper is as an attorney, but as a Guardian as Litem, I have to say is one of the worst I have encountered. She has no ability to objectively take on a neutral role, as she is supposed to do as a GAL. She is very quick to form opinions with no investigation and extremely ignorant. She, Jessica the case manager, and staff members I interacted with were courteous, clear in their explanations, and responded promptly when I had a question or concern. We were able to complete the process of probate in a fairly rapid time frame, even in the midst of a pandemic. Michelle handled a probate matter for me for my husband’s estate. She, Jessica the case manager, and staff members I interacted with were courteous, clear in their explanations, and responded promptly when I had a question or concern. While the circumstances were unfortunate (the passing of a relative), Attorney Berglund (and the entire team) was so helpful, patient, kind, and respectful throughout the process of organizing and closing out our relative’s estate.
