The Northwest Justice Project (NJP) is Washington’s publicly funded legal aid program. Each year NJP provides critical civil legal assistance and representation to thousands of people with low incomes in cases affecting basic human needs such as family safety and security, housing preservation, protection of income, access to health care, education and other basic needs.

My experience with talking to NJP seemed helpful over the phone. But when we asked about the confirming our hearing in a tiny window she never mentioned it was imperative we confirm or else we lose. That should of been discussed! How something so stupid and faulty can turn your whole world upside down! Just confirming your hearing!!!! I didn’t confirm in the 24 hour window. So I lose my home, I don’t get to defend myself because I didn’t confirm BS. Now what? Where?
