Terrible agency that is unresponsive to reports of discrimination , after sending in notarized complaint 4 months ago no communication whatsoever . After tagging many people on an email they respond with a generic response . These type of agencies are over-bloated bureaucracies that need to be shutdown to save taxpayer money , hire better people who care and want to do their jobs .

I was jerked around for about a year and they did nothing but screw up the case and not take anything seriously. I never could have imagined a more incompetent and corrupt useless agency filled with apathetic lazy employees who won’t process the cases properly, don’t really even read them, force you to send ridiculous amounts of papers back and forth only to do nothing with everything you sent them and not even familiarize themselves with your case. I’ve had two cases with them with two different type of problems and found that they have a mostly standardized letter they send you after not processing your case properly nor taking discrimination seriously that is the same no matter what kind of case you have. In the end they will send you a letter that shows they didn’t even read your case and is filled with things that don’t make sense and don’t relate to your case or complaints at all and even some random words that aren’t even a full sentence. They can’t even type a letter. All the letters end by telling you you can go ahead and file an appeal with Supreme Court (like everyone’s supposed to have that kind of money for a lawyer and/or produce more massive amounts of paperwork and do the work that they are getting paid for!)

They do not conduct field investigations. The EEO officers are unprofessional and lazy. EEO investigators do not conduct field investigations, so they have let hundreds of EEO complaints fail by the waist side. New York state politicians should audit this agency or close it, they won’t do their job.
