It was super clean officers were very nice a professional-looking building law offices was nicely decorated and organized. All the people in the building that work there from the police officers to the doctors to the directors and system directors staff is very helpful patient. All were friendly fast and efficient at their jobs and seem very happy to be working there made me feel really comfortable can be a little intimidating the thought of it the staff everyone in the building was in good spirits They were approachable did I quickly released all unpleasantness of the unknown, it allow me to release any stress or anxiety prior to the visit. I appreciate whole staff for all you do all daily for us local citizens and for this lovely city. Thank you.. I felt calm, safe and welcome

Positive: ProfessionalismI honestly had little faith and minimal expectations having to deal with a Public Defender’s Office. I assumed I would be dealing with an underpaid, overbooked, and semi heartless lawyer just getting experience for their career. Alexis Nava-Martinez guided me on the proper steps to handle my situation. Her communication was on point and just speaking with her, I felt she truly had my best interest at heart. I followed her guidance and my situation ended with the best possible outcome. I feel she has a genuine heart and true passion for her profession. She may actually be underpaid and overbooked, ( I don’t know actually, just an assumption as we never discussed ) but I assure you that she is not heartless and a genuine human being. Our Society and Judicial System could definitely use more people like her. Never ever use these people!! They lie like crazy. I accepted a offer for a crime I did not commit just to be done with this nonsense. What I accepted has NOW doubled in money’s and has added more restrictions to my signed offer. These pretend to be attorney’s are not your friend, they work with the DA to destroy you

Why was my public defender removed from my case? Brian Hyer was working very hard for me. I never could get a straight answer from them. Justice is supposed to be blind, not deaf and dumb!!

Haven’t always been the biggest fan of public defenders, though I’ve never had money for lawyers when I needed them. I’ve been finding out if you give them better energy you get better results, they are in fact people as well. I am grateful for the support they’ve been giving me with my case.

This office is absolutely horrible The public defender’s office has not helped my son’s case whatsoever. I am finding that this system is all of corruption and it is extremely biassed I believe they are famous because they named streets after these people It is called one way My son misses court date because he had another court earring in another county at the very same time We contact in the public defender’s office and advise them of this scheduling conflict however they did not care and I even went as far as contacting the judge in this case and the judge told me if my son did not show up he was putting a failure to appear worn out for my son. I told him and explained to the judge that my son has a court appearance in another county and I would be more than happy to submit the proof however this judge demanded that my son miss court and this other county Just as long as he appeared before him it was fine if he missed court somewhere else. We were told the very same thing by the other courts revard county courts stated that my son had to appear there Incensed that cases older I felt that should go there 1st and what is dead was cause my son to become very frightened and not go to either court dates, Is calling to thunder is extremely rude and doesn’t understand that my son is suffering from mental health disorder, My son has been diagnosed with numerous mental health deficiencies and therefore he should not be held accountable for this clerical mistake. This just goes to show you how biassed this judges and how much this judge does not like my son I am going to put a request in because I believe since the judge spoke to me that is a conflict of interest

The receptionist is very good however I can’t say the same thing about the public defenders. 6phone calls and numerous messages and still no response from my messages left.
