Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, ValueI hired Clint Colvin, who own’s Rainier Investigative Group and two other private investigative groups back on November 13th 2020. Clint was hired to find my last tenant’s who did thousands of dollars worth of damage to my rental home. I had extended the court date for the third time on the prior tenants and decided to hire a private investigator to find them, as this was my most promising step I thought.I spoke with Clint Colvin, on the phone. Clint sounded promising, was telling me that he taught private investigators, has been in business for over 10 years, was in the military and has people all over the US that he has contact with that would help with my case and numerous other positive things about himself and his business abilities. Clint claimed to be one of the best in the business. Out of three P.I.’s I spoke with, I believed Clint and all he told me, which was a huge mistake!I only needed my prior tenants found, but it turned into Clint saying he would be willing to find them, serve them, file with the court, and numerous other false promises that were never fulfilled. The contract went from $55.00 to $350.00 in a matter of one phone call. I believed in him and paid him.I gave Rainier Investigative Group/Clint Covil $350.00 cash and felt good about it. I gave Clint a full folder of all information on where they have been, where their family is, where they used to and still work and the list goes on. In return I still worked on the case filling Clint in on the information I would find, yet Clint once replied to me “Well that still doesn’t tell me where they are”. I replied “You are the Private Investigator, that is what I paid you for, is to find them and serve them”!During this time, I had a deadline of December 25th that my prior tenants needed to be served by. Through the entire time Clint had my case, he would not answer my call’s, return any call’s, his voice mail is ALWAYAS full, only wanted to communicate through text, or email. When I did talk to him one time, he said he would charge me for talking to him and the list goes on. Clint provided me nothing! NOTHING!The prior tenants needed to be served by December 25th and we were to be in court on January 4th and today on January 11th at 1:19 am Clint sent me an email. Mind you, I have tried to contact him many times without any luck what so ever. I have gave him leads and the last one was of where the prior tenants were heading. To a home of one of their friends before Christmas. This morning I received this email from Clint, after all the deadlines have passed, no communication with me has been made, not a single bit of information of use was delivered to me on the case, NOTHING. Here is my email I received and I will be also filing a claim with the BBB, a government, or regulatory authority, the Thurston County Clerks Office and will be leaving reviews, as to why nobody should ever trust this company and Clint Covil, his agreement paperwork and his promises were mere empty promises I can back up with emails and text messages. He said he would give me a refund when I first complained to him and he then never did, but promised me a better outcome and then ignoring contact. I am right now beside myself after receiving his email this early am and can not sleep.Email from Clint Covil at Rainier Investigative Group: Jan 11 at 1:19 AMHello,Inquiries to date reveal 111 various persons with the name of _____ (and variations) in Washington State. It has taken work to narrow the list to approximately four individuals in the areas of Pierce & Thurston counties. We’re following up on these four addresses. If successful, we’ll notify you straight away. If not, the next logical step will be the filing a Declaration of Attempted Service with the Court by my company.Thank you.Clint ColvinHe knows they needed to be served December 25th of last year and that the court date was to be held on January 4th 2021. There is no longer a case and he is well aware of this. Why would he still pretending to look for them???Sincerely,Lana S.I hired Clint Colvin, who own’s Rainier Investigative Group and two other private investigative groups back on November 13th 2020.
