He authorized my brother and me, who are serving in fiduciary capacities, to also work with Maya to ensure that the documents met his wishes. Simply put, we had a wonderful experience working with Maya.Maya listened carefully to all of my father’s wishes and offered thoughtful suggestions on how his objectives might be met, while keeping in mind ways to simplify the eventual administration of the plan. With his permission, she worked closely with his financial planner to ensure that financial matters such as asset titles and beneficiaries were consistent with the legal plan.Maya made herself available (outside of business hours if needed) to family members living in three states and two time zones. She went above and beyond to make the process as easy as possible for my father, who has some mobility issues. For example, she made house calls to determine his needs and to obtain signatures and notarize documents.
