In the past five years, I have been in and out of court with my former husband for any and every issue. After Craig Galpern- my former attorney retired, my ex-husband abused the legal system in attempt to ensure I could not retain adequate legal representation with a reputable attorney in Medford. It was a nightmare for 2.5 years, paying full-rates for subpar attorneys that did not get results and I felt my voice was never heard.

1 star is generous for this law group. I hired Ms. Pitcher to assist with a Divorce case. Her and her law group filed numerous needless documents which wasted thousands of dollars. Coupled with outrageous administrative fees, the RISE Law Group spent $15,000 of the only money I had, and I’m worse off and not closer to being divorced than before I hired them. I’ve never even met Ms. Pitcher. Mrs. Hazlett actually represented me during a court hearing, but she was completely unprepared and looked like a high school student who went to take a final exam after only reading the cliff notes. Don’t waste your time or money. If you’ve also been screwed by this law firm, you can submit an Ethics complaint via the Oregon State Bar. I don’t know if it will accomplish anything, but these people are thieves who line their pockets with the money of innocent people without any ethics at all.

When I was beginning the process of choosing representation for my divorce, it was actually recommended to me, more than once, to schedule a consult with Ms. Hazlett, specifically with the intention to make a booking conflict so that the opposing side could not retain her. After my consult, I felt so confident that I retained Ms. Hazlett myself! Ms. Hazlett was calm, confident, knowledgeable, and reassuring. Her team has been just as excellent. They are friendly, organized, kind, professional, and always on top of the details of my case. Communication is prompt and clear. My questions are answered quickly and followed up on, as is filing paperwork on my behalf with the court. I genuinely feel like they are on my team. I have had a great experience working with Ms. Hazlett and her team, and recommend them definitely.

I have one case court date she helped with, nothing to show outside that 4,000 day.She requires that she drains you in order to help by going through all her channels of staff in a obvious attempt to pay them fair wages before she feels the need to touch bases. Her ethics are not helpful and unprofessional, I do not recommend this law office. Jamie has been a terrific lawyer. She has repeatedly gained the upper hand in my custody case. This case has been over the course of 2 years. A lot of work has gone into my case. Jamie has always been more than fair and understanding when it comes to billing. Further more I personally feel she has protected my investment into her. She has often opted for the cheaper billing route on me of emails, and I rarely see full hours billed. She breaks down dates and time spent all the way to quarters of hours instead of rounding up. I’ve seen multiple 20, 25 minute phone calls billed at 15 minutes. Over 2 years of work and she has repeatedly saved me billing hours, which obviously saves me money. She could of rang me completely dry over 2 years if she wanted. She has been understanding and fair. I highly, HIGHLY, HIGHLY, recommend her to all people, but coming from a father, most certainly dads. I felt women usually win and getting 50/50 was unlikely due to being a father. She has got me and maintained me 50/50. I cant express how much your legal help has meant to me Jamie. She made my ex look silly on the stand, Jamie was like a pit bull in there, my ex tried to lie and Jamie kept at her until she completely flipped and admitted the truth. She’s amazing guys and gals.
