I called Bob Marshall’s office to discuss retaining him for my case. After I explained the details of my situation, he took the time to give a thorough explanation of each aspect and potential outcomes in pursuing my case. I have never dealt with a legal issue before so I was thankful for the insight he gave. I am still weighing which direction I will go in pursuing my case but I was appreciative of his candor in that he would not take on a client just to show up and plead without thoroughly investigating the case and fighting for the client. Despite indicating that I might be interested in pursuing such a vigorous court fight, he still took the time to cover what I had questions about as well as a referral for a public defender if I am qualified for one.

Hired him as a defense lawyer for a DUI in 2011, he drug out the case as long as possible before ultimately telling me there’s nothing he can do and was ultimately convicted. The one positive was he said to contact him for expungement when the time was right. Fast forward now almost 10 years later I thought it would be an easy straight forward expungement process. Instead I spent over a month getting lip service from his secretaries who said they were letting him know and that he would contact me soon, after waiting 6 weeks with no response and numerous phone calls to his “answering service” he clearly had no interest in helping me out. I contact another firm and the same day began the process of my expungement immediately.
