My ex hired this guy to divorce me. She wound up firing him because of his inability to keep appointments and complete work product. For a so called mediator, my faith attempts attempts to engage were ignored.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, ValueRoscoe was very wrong. We spent nearly $3000 for poor quality work. All I asked for was my children to have a safe, healthy and happy relationship with their father. No thanks to Roscoe, I still ensure that happens myself. His job was to alleviate some of that responsibility from me when the divorce had to happen. I first met Roscoe when I was interviewing for divorce lawyers, he was recommended to me by a friend of his. I did not hire him due to the immediate vibe I picked up from him and his secretary. My priority was a lawyer who was going to care about my children above all else. Unfortunatly, after hiring another lawyer, Roscoe became our court appointed guardian ad lietem. He is not a children’s advocate by my standards. He was supposed to be the voice and representative for my children while I was going through a divorce from a high functioning narcasistic sociopath alcoholic. I still maintain a close relationship with my ex husband and we speak daily and even spend time doing family activities. I KNOW what happens behind closed doors, I lived it many years. Roscoe was not thorough in his investigation and did not even contact the most crucial people in my children’s life. He did not speak with my children’s therapist to directly hear their fear and trauma, he did not contact the people closest to our children to hear what they witnessed and rescued us from many times. He was sure to contact all of my ex husbands enablers though. Roscoe was easily minipulated by my ex husband who researched and honed into every personal passion and motivators of Roscoe and used them to gain empathy and sympathy from Roscoe. This is a classic minipulation tatic. Roscoe 1. Should not have his personal information public in his role and 2. Should have been immune to this. However, major fail. My children still get to visit with my active alcoholic ex husband when it is convient for him. My children love their father and I do not interfere. Roscoe hides behinds his secretary and is hard to reach. It took him a very long time to complete his very disappointing work. He even lost it before appearing to court remotely and did it “to the best of his recollection” I would highly recommend not using this firm if you are able. After paying all that money, Roscoe’s report was garbage. My ex husband and I created our own agreement, typed it up, signed it and submitted it to the court. Wham Bam done. Mark’s office has a very calming atmosphere. He has a very calming demeanor. I felt that he was a truly unbiased third party and helped to negotiate a difficult divorce. He is very knowledgeable and quick to offer helpful and equitable solutions. I’m very grateful that we were able to utilize his skills.
