I think once someone goes through the experience of an accident, no matter how severe, it’s stressful to think about what your supposed to do afterwards. Last year, I was in an accident in which I was hit, pushed off the road and flipped my car. I have never been in an accident that severe. I was taken away in an ambulance and spent hours in emergency. Worse, than the pain I was experiencing, was the thought of calling my insurance, recording my version of the story. Plus, I am still working, who has time for this stuff? Calling their insurance recording the story for them. Or do I get a lawyer, how much stress is that? What do I do when the medical bills start rolling in? Does my insurance cover it, or am I going to be billed back my insurance a year from now? The person who hit me, told the police I hit them, and somehow found a person that backed his version of the story.
