I was contacted by a legal assistant who initially sounded like a nice professional man. I said “I’m in the beginning stages I don’t know where to start” he asked why I was seeking legal help, I mentioned that I am renting, he asked “are you a tenant” I replied yes, he went on to say “I’m sorry we don’t handle tenant landlord issues we wouldn’t be able to help you” then hung up immediately. It was as if once it was clear that they couldn’t take me on as a client the professionalism went out the door and I couldn’t even attempt to reply before hearing the click of him hanging up on me.
