Runkle’s has been family owned and operated since 1949! Bruce Runkle originally established the business in Red Lion, Pennsylvania as a full service Notary. His grandson, Mark Johnson has been the proud owner of Runkle’s since 1995. At all of our 3 locations, we are able to issue registration cards, licenses and stickers immediately. Additionally, the York office is an authorized PennDOT Photo License Center. Today, Runkle’s is a respected, reliable resource for various driver and vehicle services. I had to stop at Runkles in Hanover on a whim because my car was getting inspected and I didn’t have my registration. L.J. was such a great help. He looked it up and left us know that it was still pending. And he said that sometimes it takes that long which was like 3 months. The very next day, it was processed. He got us taken care of without issue and was really cool about it because we came in with confusing paperwork. If you need something notorized, go see James. Ricki at Runkles in Hanover was fantastic to help my father update title after mother’s passing and he forgot to bring his reg/ins card. It was no problem and she helped us to get info needed quickly and so friendly, patient and professional. My dad commented a few times afterwards how great that lady was and so glad she helped him out! I usually use Runkle’s in Red Lion due to location and they have always been great no matter what we needed.

I had an exceptional experience at Runkles. I recently moved to Hanover, PA from Owings Mills, MD. It was necessary for me to transfer my title and tags. I was greeted by James and he provided top notch service every step of the way. He was extremely friendly, patient, accomodating, and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend Runkles to others. I can’t think of a single complaint. What a pleasant way to be greeted to my new community!

I gave a 1 star review about my experience yesterday. I have decided to delete that review and redo it based on my experience today. Yesterday two individuals were rude to me and did not want to explain anything to me so I could understand. Today I delt with James who was awesome, he was so patient with the process and my grandfather. When he realized he was hard of hearing he did speak up for him or waited until I explained it to him. Megan also reached out to me this afternoon to hear about what happened yesterday which I really appreciated. She also assured me she would talk to these individuals about yesterday’s experience. i was practically in and out today with my new tags and my title transfered thanks to James, today it was definitely a strong four star rating!

Our company bought a vehicle and needed the tag and title transfer. The insurance co. made a mistake on the insurance card. Ricki reached out to them and it was corrected in a timely fashion.
