For nearly 18 months, my spouse & I have been living in a constant state of stress & fear. During this very taxing time, we had felt that the court & justice system had continually failed to protect, serve, & carry out the rule of law. At times we felt helpless, dehumanized & practically ignored by the legal system. Even after an arrest was finally made, we were continually discouraged that anything pertaining to this individual would come to a stop so that we could live our lives peacefully again.
