Marina Shepelsky is an award-winning immigration and family law attorney, and a CEO and founder of Shepelsky Law Group. I am an immigrant myself. My life’s goals are to legalize people in United States, keep families together, and to help parents separate from each other in their divorce proceedings with dignity and with protecting the interests of the children. I am licensed as an attorney in New Jersey since 2002 and in New York State since 2003. I am licensed in 2 highest level federal appeals courts – Eastern District and Southern Districts of New York. I am admitted in all 58 Immigration Courts in United States, and in the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA). I am admitted to practice (make oral arguments) before the Supreme Court.

I haven’t visited the office itself, cause I am not in the US currently, we had a zoom call. What can I say.

Marina took me on as a client for my divorce, which no other lawyer wanted to do for me because my now ex-husband lives in Poland and I’m in the USA and we have a child together. She made a process which can be long and drawn out feel not as bad and she gave very sound advice as to what I should and shouldn’t do. Also the cost was affordable for a single mom and she was very understanding and agreeable to a comfortable payment arrangement. I consider Marina not just a great lawyer but also a friend; in general an interesting and genuine human being that doesn’t look down on those less fortunate than her but tries to help in any way she can. Thank you Marina and associates!

We contacted Marina when my dad was waiting for green card renewal for almost a year. Usually, this process takes less time. At that moment in the process, Marina could not help us as a attorney, but she consulted me free of charge and gave good pointers on what we can do and who to contact. Following Marina’s advice, we received dad’s card in a month. Great attorney and her team ! Tons of thanks!

Positive: Professionalism
I know Marina as a fellow attorney in my professional community and I am always astonished by her compassion and her deep understanding of complex issues of humanitarian aspects of immigration law. I believe her expertise in VAWA mechanisms and processes that allow victims of domestic violence to obtain immigrant status is truly remarkable and can only be obtained through years of professional experience. I find it remarkable that Marina generously contributes her time and effort to educating immigrant community through the series of videoblog posts and informational articles of very condensed value.

Marina Shepelsky helped me personally with an unfair medical bill and answered lots of my questions about immigration, preserving a green card, my chances at getting citizenship, bringing my brother to the US, etc. Marina also helped hundreds of immigrants during the free consultations in my FB group and on Zoom. She is very passionate about helping victims of domestic violence (men and women in a abusive relationships) and gets them work permits, green cards even when the American husband or wife are reluctant to provide paperwork and attend interviews (VAWA). She also has lots of experience in winning asylum, she is compassionate in divorce cases.
