I would have given her 0 stars if that was a possibility. She does not communicate with you. It is even hard to be able to talk to her secretary. She does not fight for you but I guess that’s why she is a public pretender, I mean defender. If you are appointed her, I would highly suggest looking into getting someone else or your case will be drug out as long as she can.

Do not put your freedom in this womans hands. This lady just goes through the motions. She is on lazy auto pilot. She isn’t interested in anything but doing what is the easiest for her. When you call her office, good luck. Her asst. Seemed more concerned then Dreama every was. She is very poor on communication and options and follow up. I had to basically do her job acquiring court documents, videos, recordings of calls, and never contacted me on up coming court dates until she continues them for her purposes. The plantif against me was dismissed or stepped down due to ethical issues, when I emailed this information I received an attitude as if I was making it up and didn’t even follow up. It took a year before the magistrate themselves dismissed the case.

HORRIBLE LAWYER! There are NUMEROUS complaints filed against this lawyer with the WV Bar Association and many of her former clients would like to know WHY she is still practicing. In our case, she very possibly cost us 4 children. She lied about filing an appeal, kept sending phony documents to the family pretending she had filed. The end result finally determined that she had NEVER filed it. She was PAID FOR THIS. Because of the statute of limitations, the family was NOT allowed to file that appeal, so we lost our children to strangers because of LIES.
