My experience with this law firm started out great. They were informative and attentive to my situation. The minute I decided not to file bankruptcy, everything changed. They were not answering my calls or calling me back. They were not answering my emails as well. I had to call them from a number that they could not trace back to me in order for them to pick up. When they did, they were not helpful in explaining butwhy I could not get a refund. Michelle came up with something about the lawyers were preparing a case , so I had to pay for that. I did not ask anyone to prepare a case for me. After reviewing some information, I was not sure if I wanted to file so I told them to standby. If I am not due a refund, then fine. Why am I being told ito read material that does not explain anything about a refund. I did not understand why they would take advantage of a person who is in my situation. That speaks volumes to one’s character. If a person is considering filing bankrupcy , chances are they are not in a good space at the time. I feel this company took advantage of my situation. I am still working on receiving a refund because I believe that one is in order. Maybe a judge will have to decide.
