To wait up to three months, for a court date, when you fill a claim against a customer that doesn’t want to pay, is devastating for small business, especially for construction. It should change! People are abusing and breaking small business and contractors due to this. It should change! Court date should be within a week or two after the claim was filled, other wise small businesses/construction/contractors will not have a nice place in the city.

The phone rang for over 5 minuets and still no answer! When you finally get court date and are victorious you have to collect on the judgement. It seems that the courts, like most of the rest of the government, are here to be served by the people rather than to serve the people.
