I was hit by a car on my bike in March, which broke my collarbone. I didn’t have insurance so I was taken to Jackson for treatment. Eli forced GEICO to pay out the driver’s full PIP — they wanted to assign me 30% of the blame but they backed down after one strongly worded letter. Ultimately he got me a modest payout plus some money for my smashed bike, and he got Jackson to waive the remaining medical bills that the PIP didn’t cover! All this was done over several months, not knowing if he would be paid at all.
