Tad was recommended to us by a former police officer whose son had gotten himself in trouble. Because of the great outcome of our friend, we immediately called Tad when our own son found himself in a boat load of trouble out on the east end of Long Island. Apparently out east the courts seem to handle their own cases. Tad was amazing with the case and handled everything with professionalism and he achieved a very good outcome on our son’s behalf. Unfortunately, history repeated itself two more times when my son was now considered an adult. Again, we contacted Tad and he gathered the evidence, spoke to our son and put up with several postponements while my son received treatment for his mental illness. After my son was on the path to wellness, it was with great relief that my son’s cases were dismissed with minimal fines. His driver’s license was reinstated and he did not have to do any time in jail. If you have any reservations about hiring Tad, he will know who wrote this review and he will put you in touch with us personally. I am not publishing my last name for obvious reasons. Keep his number in your contact list and call him first before speaking to the police or the courts. You will be grateful that you did.

I hired Tad for my DWI, and handled my case superbly. After talking with him at my consultation, i was sure he was the right lawyer for me. Tad was so considerate and empathic to our needs. Our daughter got into a little trouble and Tad was able to help us by keeping the process as painless as possible. The result was arranged prior to the actual court date so when we got there, it was literally 3 minutes in front of the judge. I was referred to Mr. Scharfenberg by a friend. My son, who is a new driver, received a moving violation which could have carried a hefty fine, points, and a suspension of his license. Within 24 hours of contacting Mr. Scharfenberg, that ticket was reduced to a parking violation with no points, no suspension and a minimal fine. Thank you for a great job Mr. Scharfenberg. Having just gotten my first really sporty and really fast BMW,I was rewarded for my joy of driving with 6 tickets in two differentcourts in suffolk.
