Hire them a while back wanted Derek but they gave me the other guy and told me that Derek would help with my case, long story short Derek never help and I ended up pleaing out to a charge that I felt could have been beat. Try to go back for a dui and a introduction of contraband and demand that I have Derek Byrd to represent me he told me or should I say they told me that they couldn’t do anything to help me . Hired another attorney from Tampa and she got the charges reduced to reckless driving and the introduction of contraband down to simple possession and adjudication withheld, only got 6 months misdemeanor probation. In short this law firm will only take your case if he’s feels it’s a easy when and if they do take your case you won’t get Derek Byrd they’ll pass you to the orher guy in the firm who’s name is drew . Don’t hire these people there overrated and over paid…

My girlfriend Amanda Slocum was wrongfully attacked by Venice police department. They gave their dog the command to kill when she was already in handcuffs and on the ground. Amanda is a person in a wheelchair and can’t run so the officer was not in danger or had a justified reason for giving the dog a command to attack. She is left with anxiety and is now afraid of dogs like german shepherds. Byrd Law Firm is thinking of taking her case.
