Scott Grossman is amazing! I came to him with a poorly written trust which I was the trustee. Mr. Grossman was able to successfully assist me with my situation and won the case. Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ResponsivenessScott Grossman makes mistakes, communicates poorly, and is not responsive — I recommend you avoid him. And definitely refuse to agree to his large retainer.I chose him after an initial consultation for which he was extremely well prepared. I appreciated this, and it made up for the weird videos they ask you to watch. He asked for a VERY large retainer — much larger than any other attorney, even ones at established firms — which I agreed to pay. Then it all went downhill.Their processes are all in the stone-age. Payment is not electronic, no video conferences, and billing statements and other communications are provided by mail.It wasn’t clear to me what the first steps would be so I sent an email on Jan 8th requesting a phone call and sharing a document with hyperlinks. He didn’t respond until Jan 19th, at which point I had already received an update from the opposing counsel. Since Scott hadn’t responded to my email I hadn’t forwarded the update to him. When he finally responded he told me that he had sent a letter to opposing counsel asking for what I had just received. That looks sloppy. He also said he didn’t realize the hyperlinks were clickable so he hadn’t reviewed the documentation I had compiled.A few months later he made another mistake, and demanded documentation from opposing counsel which he had already been provided.Scott stopped responding to most of my emails and I often needed to re-send them, or to include other staff at his office. Often I wouldn’t get a reply from him at all.I finally decided to find another attorney. I’m much happier. My new attorney pointed out that she would send a demand letter to opposing counsel citing the basis for her requests. I asked why we had to waste time sending a new one and couldn’t rely on Scott’s requests. She pointed out that Scott never documented the legal basis for requests or for their time to fulfill them. Ugh.Also, I was just forwarded documents which had been provided to Scott 2 months ago — 1.5 months before I fired him — which he did not advise me of or forward to me. This is, by far, the most upsetting thing.Ironically, the only times in which I was impressed by him were the initial consultation and his promptness at returning the unused retainer.Scott Grossman makes mistakes, communicates poorly, and is not responsive — I recommend you avoid him. Are words even adequate enough to express what this man has done for me or how grateful I am for what he was able to accomplish for my situation? Let me just say this…this is the only review you need to read concerning this firm. I found myself approaching my sixth decade on this wonderful planet. I had outstanding parents and enjoyed a relatively colorful life with which I didn’t come out from unscathed. I developed COPD and have been struggling for the oxygen we need for ten years now. Being disabled, I was relying on a simple check each month to live on and had waiting on my share on inheritance from my parents. My brother was trustee of a sizeable living trust left to us and I had every confidence in his ability to handle things and I gave him my complete trust and faith. Now he and I had no desire to sell off the seven properties left to us. They were rented out and we both enjoyed some income from them. Some years later I am told there is nothing left, its all gone, I spent my share and perhaps he can borrow two hundreds dollars from his credit card to help me out. Obviously, there is a huge story in the middle but it is in the past now. I was just days away from being homeless with my oxygen machine and no where to plug it in. Now when I tell you there is a God. You better believe it. When I tell you that Mr. Scott Grossman is my super hero Godsend. You better believe that too. Not only did this wonderful human being offer me his expertise, but also his empathy and compassion. He found out exactly what had happened and knew exactly what to do. And today I am writing this thank you book to honor this man for saving my life and securing my future. This firm is the ABSOLUTE answer to your situation. They are professional, skilled, expedient, and above all truly caring about you and what is happening to you. Sure he is gets paid because he not only earns it.
