We paid Mr. Smith in full for immigration assistance. We kept giving him money for paperwork and in the end we find out he didn’t even file a FOIA request. We also had a meeting set at USCIS and he did not show up. He will not return your calls and you’ll get nothing in the end, save your money and go somewhere else. Learn from my $3,000 dollar mistake. Mr. Smith should be allowed to pray on people the way he does.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, ValueSlow and unprofessional I hired him to complete a divorce and then a fiancé visa. He let my divorce in Hawaii get disposed and did not tell me. He used the Japanese divorce documents that I gave him to do the fiancé visa and did not finish the paperwork in Hawaii so there is nothing in the United States that shows I am divorced and it has effected my security clearance and my wife’s citizenship. Lazy and never returns calls. He basically quit on the divorce, and did not tell me. I gave him over 6000.00 and provided most the paperwork for him. I had to hire someone else to work on the visa because the one he submitted was poorly put together and denied. I had to hire another attorney just to finish what Edward Smith quit doing, and he was hired to do. If you feel like hiring extra attorneys to fix Edwards mistakes, and finish the job well he is your guy. I have been in court for the last decade fighting a highly contentious, international divorce/custody/child abduction battle. I had sole physical custody and lived in Manitoba lawfully with my son since he was only a few months old. At a hearing in Hawaii I didn’t know about and was not present for, a judge reversed custody. My Ex then came to Manitoba and abducted our 3 year old toddler to Hawaii during a court ordered visit. I hired Ed after a bunch of other lawyers failed to get my kid back.

The worst experience ever. He nearly caused me to lose my only son to his father who had been married several time and already had several children with other women because he said he could no longer fight and it was a battle I should just give up on my only child. Its unfortunate he could not be the lawyer I expected him to be continues to leave his bill on my credit report. After all was said and done I found out my ex-husband paid him a lump sum to tell him to just give up my only child. He nearly ruined my life and my only child’s life. And yes I made a mistake marrying a man who I thought changed but to find out he did not change cost me so much more. My son means the world to me and nearly losing him was not worth the expense of this lawyer be aware it just takes a lump sum to pay him off and you could lose your child/ren. He doesn’t fight for you he fights for his money.
