Joshua Lopez helped me during a very confusing period of my life when I regrettably made many mistakes. This was an extremely stressful period for me concerning my circumstances, and I am so thankful I visited Joshua’s office. Even more, I was not expecting a dismissal on my case, as there were many instances where they could have prosecuted me. I never felt judged by Joshua who remained impartial and understanding at all times. From this, I really appreciated the humanistic approach he implemented in his work. Josh helped me with my DUI case and he did an amazing job. I had never been in trouble before this and had no clue what to do. All of the other lawyers I talked to talked to me like my father would and talked down to me. Josh did not do that. He was professional but also kept it cool with me and assured me he had everything handled and he did exactly that. Josh represented me in an Injunction of Harassment that a neighbor filed against me. All the claims were false, and I had substantial evidence that I had never talked to this neighbor, less harassed her. I provided all my exhibits to Josh and he was super well prepared and organized in the hearing to quash the injunction, needless to say that he quashed the injunction. Josh is absolutely professional, pays attention to details, my case included strong false allegations against me, it was very serious. I can’t think of anything much more devastating or humiliating than being arrested for a crime you didn’t commit. A few months ago, I found myself in that exact situation. Stressed and full of anxiety, I scoured the internet looking for criminal defense attorneys. Reading every rating and narrowing my search, I ended with three candidates. After speaking with all three, I went with Josh. From our first conversation, I instinctively trusted Josh. He didn’t coddle me or BS me, but throughout this horrendous process, kept me up to date and always assured me he was by my side. Working together with Josh, going over evidence, motive, the police report, etc.. Josh poked holes in the prosecutions case that eventually lead to an all-out dismissal of the charges against me. I never saw the inside of a courtroom. I never missed a day of work. While I certainly pray I never have to call Josh again, should I or anyone I know find themselves in a similar situation, I would not hesitate to do so. Josh is a life saver… Literally. One of the few attorneys I’ve ever met that I truly believe cares about his clients.
