I was there today to do a consultation for a divorce. Mr. Smoren was very informative and explained every aspect of my case. We spent 2 hours on every aspect on what to expect and what to avoid. He’s patient and knowledgeable. I don’t understand why the other guy have him one star when Mr. Smoren was hospitalized for fee months for covid on a respirator. A few years ago one of my friends was going thru a divorce and he didn’t answer calls or did any of his work. If you’re hanging on to life on a string, you should cut the guy some slack don’t you think? Have a heart. Mr. Smoren laid out all the cards I can play on the table and let me go home and think about what I want to do. No pressure and he sincerely wants me to make the choice that I feel comfortable with. I haven’t decided how to proceed on the divorce case as of now so I want to give him a favorable review and thank him for the extra long two hour consultation. I know some professionals would take advantage of me in my emotional state like when my dad passed from cancer in 2008. The funeral home got me to do a $30,000+ funeral including two tiny plots of burial ground on a shared tombstone (for my mom in the future).

Have you ever been cursed out by a lawyer who tells you its very fortunate for your spouse to sign the paperwork on time for your UNCONTESTED divorce case then proceedes to sit on that paperwork for 6 months before filing it with the court resulting in you having to now hire a second lawyer to finalise the case that he started?
