She was rude, agitated, spoke over me and did not allow me to speak and did not believe anything I had to say. I DO NOT recommend. If she is this hardball with a client I can only imagine how she acts before a judge. This attorney acts with total malice and disregard toward prospective clients.

Lorrie does not care about your case. She only sees a dollar sign and does not care about you. She tries to minipulate you by belittling you. Making you feel worse than you already do. She got $20,000 out of me. I divorced my ex, when I left him I took nothing with me. I asked for nothing. Didn’t want the house or money. I just wanted a divorce. She dragged the process out. Saying she will get me the house and possession that I never wanted. I almost had to hire a lawyer for my attorney because she just won’t listen. Aweful experience. I would give zero stars if I could.

When we made it in front of the Macomb county judge, the judge called her fees “excessive.” I strongly suggest that you seek other counsel! Also, she point blank told me as her client, that she thinks I’d “break on the stand,” and that all the judge would see is my lack of mental health when looking at me. Funny, I never did break on the stand, and I’ve made it through the final trial with another lawyer. From the moment I got on the phone with Lorrie, she was very abrasive and aggressive. I let her know specifically what I was looking to do because I have dealt with FOC and parenting time issues for years. She had very different ideas and plans of action that seemed extreme and would be drawn out for long periods of time in court. She also wanted to limit my daughter’s contact with her father. When I voiced that was NOT what I was looking to do, she became irate. She started insulting me and calling me delusional and yelling at the top of her lungs.

Lorrie is a fantastic lawyer. She knew from the start that my case was a mess, she accepted the challenge. She’s very well respected by her peers. I didn’t have a lot of money to start with but she worked with me and fought hard to get attorney fees covered by my ex husband. That resulted in a $20,000 judgement for attorney fees!!! She’s very easy to get ahold of, her secretary Diane is AMAZING, she’s upfront & honest, matter of fact type of person, doesn’t focus on petty things, and definitely KNOWS THE LAW!!! Lorrie was highly recommended to me & after we spoke I didn’t call any other attorneys, I knew she was my girl! We are in the middle of an evidentiary hearing and she always keeps me in the loop on everything. I honestly couldn’t be happier. Lorrie has been a blessing to me & my children!!!

I called to talk about changing the custody of my child. Women was very rude and loud on phone and kept repeating her self saying “you don’t know the law” she said you need to schedule an appointment at my office to set up to learn the law and it’s going to be 300$ an hour before we even try and change your custody agreement. Is it or is it not her job to know the law? That’s why I’m trying to hire someone. If I knew how to do this I wouldn’t be calling you I’d be doing it myself. Definitely wouldn’t recommend her unless you like to be yelled at and belittled over the phone.

I contacted her for legal advice on my out of state child support case. She was loud and rude from the moment she picked up the phone and was belittling me the entire call. Told me that I could lose custody of my child because I don’t know how the system works, which is why I was looking for a lawyer in the first place. She then told me that it would be a 3500 retainer and it was plainly obvious that she was trying to scare me into hiring her. Don’t recommend hiring such a rude, manipulative and belligerent lawyer.
