Matt and his office have been impossible to get ahold of. They haven’t explained the process at all. I get no warning before things are done. I’ve been locked out of the home with my personal property still inside. And to make matters worse I’m now being told I have to hire another attorney to protect me from my attorney. RUN. So far I have been billed more than double what I was quoted for “an easy case” and going through the billing line by line I can see multiple instances where the accounting was “fluffed” with erroneous fees and charges. Positive: ProfessionalismI was referred by a friend to handle my fathers affairs after he passed. The Matechik firm is knowledgeable, timely and communicative. This isn’t the type of business one tends to keep on hand as a referral (ex. Mechanic or hair stylist) however I will be adding this one to my Rolodex.
