It is a shame I have to leave a bad review for this company because after all, the attorney was great. Daniel Castro helped resolved my parents roof claim, but his assistant and the staff lack knowledge and don’t know what they are doing. For starters, they demanded my parents to appear at a deposition without proper notice or coordination and stated they must appear by law. That is a lie. Yes, they have to appear, but the scheduler waited until last minute to coordinate and didn’t realize there’s a thing called public records that shows when the judge assigned the order for deposition deadlines. A whole 9 months and they wanted to make it seem like my parents had to appear or else. That’s not how it works. You properly coordinate with the defendants. On top of that, they would always have a hard time looking for my parent’s claim because it was common, Jose and Maria Garcia. Now the claim has finally settled, the mortgage is requesting the estimate the firm provided and I needed someone to forward me a copy. The receptionist Rosy is rude, unprofessional and lacks basic manners like respect and letting others speak. She transferred me to someone that could “help me” because Wendy, who was originally helping me was on vacation and was unresponsive to my calls/texts. Miriam, who was supposed to “help me” starts speaking to me in Spanish and then tells me she couldn’t find my parent’s case that she’ll give me a call back. I cannot wait for a call back and from past experience from this firm, a call is never returned, (thank you rosy for always promising a call back but I never got them). The check WILL expire if I don’t get this case moving. I call again and Rosy picked up and I stated Miriam seemed like she was clueless because she couldn’t even find my parent’s claim and wanted to give me a call back when she found it. Rosy proceeded to tell me “Us receptionists cannot do that for you” . I did not ask for a receptionist to forward me the estimate. I needed someone else who knows what they are doing. As Rosy is once again, looking for my parents claim, I get another call from the firm, surprisingly it was Miriam. She stated she found my parents claim and stated she would email me to estimate. Few minutes later I receive another phone call from the firm, and as soon as I say hello, they say “why did you tell the receptionist I was clueless? You are so rude and disrespectful I told you I would call you back and email you the estimate”. I’m sorry, did an employee just call back client and question them, as if they have any right or authority to do that? I am not the first or last person to say the staff lacks knowledge, communication skills or professionalism and calling me back was uncalled for. I should report to the Florida Bar, because what was that about? If you can’t find a case and you need all the time in the world to look for a case and have the client waiting, they will want better service from someone else. Without the clients’ messed up homes, without the clients’ settlements, you would not have a job!

Absolutely horrible experience. Before you become a client they are readily available and respond to questions, calls and emails within minutes. After we agreed to left them handle our homeowners insurance claim everything went downhill from there. It has been IMPOSSIBLE to get any information. They respond to emails and calls weeks later and that’s if they respond at all. It has been a complete nightmare.
