I was getting some wine delivered, and rather than take a chance on missing the delivery at home, I took the shipper up on the option for me to pick it up at the UPS store. I paid the UPS delivery charges ($10). When I picked it up, less than 24 hours after it was delivered, I was charged, by UPS, a storage fee. It was $15 for 6 bottles of wine. When I said I thought the charge was unfair, and I planned to take it up with UPS, the clerks said “we have nothing to do with UPS.” They explained that they are independent franchise. So keep in mind (1) the UPS Store has nothing to do with UPS, and (2) if you pick up your package there, be prepared to pay a storage fee in addition to shipping fees.

Used this store frequently during COVID lockdown and always has good experiences. Today I brought in a large document to be scanned (for my son) and they had the audacity to charge $5 for the first page and $1 for every page after. It’s a 50 page document and it literally would have been cheaper to send it overnight. Just awful considering it costs them the same to scan 1 page or 100. Went to Dunkerly’s and they did it for $0.10 per page.
