I was involved in a car accident last year, that turned my world upside down. Mr. Andre Wharton and Ms. Lori Franklin handled my case. They were very personable and thorough, making sure that I was OK throughout the entire process. Ms. Franklin always updated me throughout the different phases of the case. They were always gracious hosts in person and very knowledgeable in navigating me through the process. The entire office staff embodies the true spirit of humility and service. You could not ask for better representation. They are truly in the business of taking care of people.

I was referred to Andre by a counselor at my previous job. After telling her about my legal problem and the charge I was facing (a felony charge) she said to me “You need a bulldog” someone that’s gonna fight for you and someone that’s gonna protect you and that someone is Andre Wharton. And man was she right! He advocated for me and worked with the prosecutors for 3 years straight until my case was finally dismissed. What I admired most about Andre was that he was very transparent..He kept it real with me whether it was good or bad. He stayed in contact with me and answered any questions or concerns I had. I could text him at any time and he would get back to me promptly. And that really means a lot because most lawyers will purposely make themselves inaccessible until your court date and you’re left not knowing what’s going on or what will happen. He kept me in the loop at all times. When he called me and left a voicemail on my phone that he had gotten my felony case dismissed and would start working on my expungement. I broke down in tears because I knew then that God had placed Andre in my path for this very reason. I would give him a hundred stars⭐ if I could and I recommend him to any and everyone in need of counsel….in need of someone that’s really gonna fight for you.

I have tried 4 different law offices in Memphis, TN. The Wharton Law Firm was the only one that called frequently. They didn’t just call about business, they also checked to see if I needed anything. The other 3 firms, that are always on tv, only called once or twice when it was time to split the check, and I was under contract with them the entire year! The Wharton law firm explained where every cent of my money was going with no surprises. Every time I visited their office they were always professional and courteous. After several visits I made them my only personal law firm. I also introduced my family and friends and they expressed the same good quality service as I.

I arrived at my scheduled appointment at 11am this morning. The office looks really nice and the guy at the desk was very kind. I sat in the waiting area for 30 minutes and still hadn’t been seen. Attorney Rudy Wharton never came out to formerly address me. After sitting there for about 15minutes she casually walked by and said I’ll be with you shortly never stopping to introduce herself or ask if I had any other appointments that I had to make. At 1130 I got up from the waiting area to go find the nice man that was at the desk when I arrived. I asked him did he know how much longer it would be? I told him if she’s super busy I don’t mind rescheduling. He said let me go and see. A few minutes later Attorney Rudy Wharton comes out and was the rudest I’ve ever seen someone that I’m fixing to pay $300 to for a consultation fee to. First she stated do you have another appointment you be at? I said no but I don’t want to be just sitting here. She said “well I have other people and phone calls I have to make” I said it’s ok I can reschedule to come back it’s not a problem. She said “well it’s going to be the same way you can’t expect to walk in to a lawyers office and be seen right away…i have other things going on” then she says “come on!”….at this point I’m flabbergasted. I couldn’t believe she was talking to me like she was taking me on as a probono case. Because I’ve been raised right and I know not to be disrespectful to my elders I politely told her ” you know what never mind” and I did not retain her services. I was very surprised and disappointed by the encounter with her. Sure, I was only retaining her service to get paperwork started for conservatorship over my daughter and maybe she felt that was unimportant. However, an appointment was made and if that particular appointment time was going to run into other clients appointments the righteous thing to do would be to tell me or reschedule me. But to be rude and nasty to me was just unnecessary. I know the Whartons are well off and my $300 is probably pocket change for them but you don’t make people feel like the way I felt leaving her office. I’m not going to pay anyone my hard earned money and be treated like I’m inferior to them. Word of mouth is very powerful advertisement. I’m a RN and some of my coworkers were interested in information about conservatorship and I told them I was going to meet with Attorney Wharton. I will tell them to not go to this attorney for anything. My daughter is at Avon Lenoxx and I will also make them aware of this situation so they won’t have to go through the same thing I experienced. Once again a black business being rude go figure.
