Martina is the best thing that’s ever happened to me. After going back and forth on whether or not I needed a lawyer, I finally decided to make a few calls and speak with a few different attorneys. Martina right off the bat was the most informative, helpful and was the only one who seemed genuinely invested in helping. Most other attorneys I spoke with had a very cavalier attitude. Martina has worked with me for just about 2 years. She has helped me fight a DUI charge amongst other charges. I received a second DUI before my first DUI court appearance. She helped me avoid jail time. I won’t lie. We have had our differences at times but I think that is only natural. As a defendent, I didn’t want to do jail time or rehab and wanted an unrealistic deal with the courts. In reality, Martina helped me get the best deal possible. Martina always was helpful with all my questions. She respects client and lawyer confidentiality. I was arrested on August 22nd 2014 for my 2nd DUI offense in 10 years. I consider myself a professional so this was a devastating disappointment to myself and to my family. When I got out of jail, I knew I had to find a attorney to get me through this, not only to make sure that I wasn’t prosecuted to the full extent of the law, but to also take the weight off of my shoulders. I did what most people would do and I searched online. I spoke to a few attorneys and ultimately decided to choose Martina, she was not the cheapest out there but in this situation YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE CHEAP and hire a inexperienced attorney to defend you. I told Martina that I wasn’t expecting to be let off the hook but my primary goal was to avoid the inside of a jail cell. She delivered everything to me and fulfilled every promise. Thanks to Martina I was able to carry out my sentence on house arrest and still be able to go to work everyday. Martina is also very flexible with setting up payment plans to make sure you are working inside of your budget. I will never forget when she said “I love being a attorney but I hate talking about money”, I knew she was the one for me. Thank you Martina and thank you to her assistant Megan for always being there for me.

Normally I’m not the one to place bad reviews, but I’m looking out for people’s lively hood. & It seems like she either has her bad reviews filtered or removed. At first working with Martina was good, she seemed compassionate & understanding. She kept me updated with my husband’s case. E-mailed me back pretty quickly & answered my questions. The moment we started asking questions & asking for copies of documents she kept beating around the bush & started being very hostile. She kept pushing us to sign the deal the d.a. offered. She finally pulled out of our case we pursued out case with our public defender. After our public defender reviewed our case she found so many mistakes that Ms.Tienart had made. Our case ended in trail, but with our P.D’s help most of the charges got dropped. If you are fighting a CRIMINAL Case I would NOT recommend this attorney. She is unexperienced in this area. Retain someone with more experience and who has more compassion for what they do. She doesn’t really care & doesn’t realize that she’s playing with people’s lives, including their families.

DO NOT USE MARTINA VIGIL!! Our family had the most horrible experience and would have been better off with the public defender. My boyfriend received 8 months for a marijuana case. This information was sprung on everyone includinging Martina Vigil. Four months into waiting and Martina informs her client’s family he is coming home that day. She says it in passing excitedly, no facts. No other information or conversation took place until the judge’s chambers. The judge read his sentence of 8 months and added probation and Martina, the client, me the girlfriend, and his parents were all in shock. Completley caught by surprise and worse Martina had nothing to say. She stumbled on her words completley dumbfounded. We all were more than crushed. To tell everyone without a shred of a doubt your loved one gets to come home and not know for sure is cruel. My boyfriend plead guilty to something different than what he was told. Malpractice. She follows up this complete epic fail with a phone call that says the judge and her counted credits wrong, it’s only one more month not four. We were lead on again for a little while. In our later sit down I was yelled at for having an opinion because I am the girlfriend and not a part of the family and she talks to me out of courtesy. I am the one who was paying. I put down the initial money and was the only way she was going to get paid in full. It was beyond a horrible experience and definitley did not get what I paid for. I was disrespected and our family was dragged through cruel promises. Once out of custody the assigned probation officer took my boyfriend off probation because his sentence was incorrect. His probation officer was baffled to how he plead to such a lengthy deal, with probation, for just marijuana and a misdomeanor battery. Needless to say without Martina’s help some of this matter was fixed which should have been fixed in the first place. It is still not over as her secretary Sandy would not give me any email address for their office without giving all of my information and proceeds to hang up on me. Spare yourself.
