Immigration Attorney
Asylum legal assistance
Citizenship legal assistance
We will walk with you through every step of the naturalization process in order to make sure you are fully prepared for the interview, civics test, and all other requirements that apply to you. We understand the importance of U.S. citizenship for allowing you to apply for your family members to gain status, vote, work where you want to work, travel, and live without fear, and we strive to make the process as easy as possible for you.
Employment-based immigration legal assistance
All U.S. employers, even those who do not employ foreign workers, have to deal with immigration issues. Since 1986, employers have been required to verify employment authorization for every new hire. Not following the process properly can result in crippling fines even if there are no foreign nationals employed at all. Our experienced professionals provide self-audit services and also defend I-9 subpoenas/inspections and notices of intent to fine. The R-1 visa allows foreign nationals to come to the United States temporarily for employment by a non-profit religious organization in the U.S. as a minister, monk, priest, rabbi, imam, or other religious worker. The religious organization can also petition for permanent residence by filing an I-360 petition. Our experienced lawyers have represented a wide variety of religious organizations and faiths in securing immigration status for their religious workers.
Family-based immigration assistance
Green card legal assistance
There are many ways foreign nationals can obtain permanent residence (green card) in the United States through business and employment. The most common way involves three steps: a Labor Certification (PERM), an I-140 petition, and either an application for adjustment of status or an application for an immigrant visa at a U.S. consulate abroad. The entire permanent residence process can be lengthy, and it is quite daunting. At Noble Vrapi, we take care of every step of the process so that owners and managers can retain valuable employees and focus on running the organization, not worrying about immigration barriers.
Outbound work permit legal assistance
There are many types of work permits. Some common types of work permits are tied to green card applications, U Visas for victims of crimes, and VAWA petitions. Our experienced attorneys will work with you to determine your options for applying for a work permit and any other immigration benefits for which you are eligible. We will take care of each step of the process for obtaining your work permit so that you can focus on planning your future for your family and career, not worrying about immigration barriers.

H-1B Visa Petition
H-1B visas permit employers to hire foreign nationals in specialty occupations. A specialty occupation is one which typically requires at least a bachelor’s degree. The H-1B visa is valid for a total of 6 years and issued in a maximum of three year increments. An employee may receive extensions beyond 6 years if he or she is in the permanent residence process. H-1B visas are limited each year to 65,000 with an additional 20,000 visas for those who obtained a Master’s degree from a U.S. university, and demand for them is very high. However, many employers are exempt from the numerical limitations, including universities and other organizations affiliated with universities. Our team of dedicated and experienced business and employment immigration professionals provide excellent representation from pre-hiring decisions to obtaining H-1B status for new hires. We have substantial experience with numerical cap-exempt employers as well as those who are subject to the numerical limitations.

Healthcare Professional Immigration
The Association of American Medical Colleges estimates that the United States will have a shortage of up to 120,000 physicians by 2030. Healthcare organizations are very cognizant of this shortage as even today it is very hard to recruit physicians. If your organization is seeking to hire a foreign national physician, we can help with every step of the process from the J-1 Conrad 30 Waiver process to H-1B to permanent residence. We work with many healthcare organizations, large and small, in taking care of their immigration needs so that executives and physicians can focus on keeping our communities healthy and not have to worry about arbitrary and onerous immigration rules.

International Recruitment and Pre-Hire Advising
You found a great candidate to join your organization, but she reveals she will need visa sponsorship. You have no idea where to start. We can help. We advise employers in pre-hiring decisions to give both the employer and the candidate a thorough overview of the process. This pre-hire planning helps onboard new employees without delay and sets reasonable expectations for all involved from the beginning of the relationship.Much of what an employer can and cannot do to petition for a foreign national employee depends on the status and immigration history of the individual. Not all foreign nationals are situated in the same way. We fully evaluate the candidate’s immigration situation so both parties can plan accordingly.

Very dedicated people and very professional. We had a difficult case and after 5 years our family is starting a new life with my husband obtaining a family visa. It took a long time just because of the nature of our case/political things out of our control, but our lawyers and assistants worked very hard to push things forward.

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, ValueI interviewed Eunice Herrera of Noble Vrapi (Santa Fe) while looking for an attorney to represent a friend from Guatemala with a seemingly hopeless immigration case. Eunice took on the case and — with a huge amount of work, grit and determination — managed to obtain a positive outcome for my friend. I am a lawyer (in a different field) and can say with professional confidence that what Eunice managed to accomplish on behalf of my friend was extraordinary. Eunice has earned my highest praise and personal respect.
