Terrible communication. Everything was done last minute. We found out on Friday at 4:30pm that we had to be in court on Monday at 8am. When he had the court date for weeks just didn’t tell us. He was late to court more than once with no heads up. When we asked for advice or help in some decisions we had to make he gave zero advice and left the ball totally in our court which we don’t know anything about the legal system so we were blindly going through everything. Even in court he didn’t prepare before hand and ask names of witnesses or anything. He even called me by the wrong name in court. The whole experience was just terrible. Anytime we would call, it was talking to the secretary and then she would have to get back to us at some point with an answer. The whole experience was very frustrating and very unprofessional. When you’re dealing with someone’s life you don’t mess around. It was like he didn’t take anything seriously.

Basically just took our money did not go visit my husband had one phone conversation with each of us said that he was putting the motion in for a bond hearing So that my husband could be on the docket for the next court date come to find out My Husband was not even on that docket which caused him to go in front of the judge at 9 AM when everyone else went at 11am The judge felt bad for Jeremy and just let him speak which resulted in my husband not getting a bond had to hire a whole new lawyer Jeremy basically took $7500 and did absolutely nothing he will never call you back he will not go up to the jail to speak to his clients he would rather them call him in which my husband is in Calhoun County Jail and has been without phone privileges visitation privileges and TV since March 4 he has been incarcerated since February 20 Jeremy Salter Bizz office was notified of every single action horrible horrible attorney I’ve dealt with a lot of attorneys and by far he is the worst would not recommend him to anybody not even my worst enemy we signed no paperwork he Should return our money or at least take out the money he used to travel to Calhoun because that’s all he did was show up to one court date unannounced but instead of being professional I get no callback shame on them
