I can’t say enough great things about Webster Book, LLP! I specifically worked with Aaron. He helped me resolve the issue with the timing chain tensioner system on my 2012 Volkswagen CC. Volkswagen agreed to pay for the full cost of repairs and legal fees. Prior to contacting Webster Book, I tried resolving the issue with VW directly. I was told that they wouldn’t assist me because the warranty on my car was up, even though there is a class action lawsuit against VW for the timing chain tensioner. I found Webster Book through a Google search and within 2 weeks they reached a settlement. I HIGHLY recommend them!

I had a timing chain issue with my vehicle a few years ago that was eligible for a recent class action settlement. The settlement would have reimbursed me for a small portion of the repair costs. I sought out Webster Book after trying unsuccessfully to come to a resolution with Audi regarding my husband’s Q5, which suffered a timing chain failure. I was told that the vehicle was not part of the settlement class and that, therefore, I would not receive a penny of reimbursement (on technicalities alone). Steve was attentive and thorough from the start and was able to bring this issue to conclusion within just a few weeks. The end result is that Audi is reimbursing us 100% for the costs incurred to replace the timing chain. Steve was always prompt in his responses and answered any questions I had. As an attorney myself, I can appreciate how difficult it can be to manage expectations insofar as client communication is concerned and Steve was nothing short of stellar in this area. In the midst of litigation about my Volkswagen Passat and I came upon this thread on Car Gurus website. As I was reading all the sob stories about cam tensioners, and how they have failed and caused catastrophic damage to the engines, I see a few people mentioning Webster Book, LLP….and in particular, the attorney Steven Webster. So in reading some of these other people’s stories, who had these horrible things happen to their cars they also had the contact number to this firm. They were speaking very highly of Webster Book saying they had helped them out in various ways accrue money back from VW. Figured why not giving them a call, so I did. 7p, central and 8p, eastern, Steven picked up the phone personally and we spoke for about 20minutes. Giving me good insight as I was relaying my nightmare. Thanked him for his time that was free of charge and we kept it moving. Very genuine exchange and knowledgeable in the field.

Simply INCREDIBLE help!!! I live in NY and figured I’ll call and ask a lawyer for his opinion on the Audi Timing Chain Settlement. Steven Webster went out of his way to help me and send me info to help fight my case at the Audi dealership. Whilst i still had to pay for other repairs his info helped me talk them into doing some free repair work!!!!
