I drove over 5 hours to come back to my home town of Lancaster to complete my move up to Sacramento, and this “Uhaul” pickup location/smoke shop/mini mart didn’t even have my trailer today, stating it was going to be delayed a couple days. I never even got a call from the store rep (or Uhaul) to update me that my trailer wouldn’t be there, even though they clearly had records of its delay. Not only that, being offered a $50 credit for the “reservation guarantee” doesn’t even come close to covering the $200 in gas I wasted, or the 11 hours of driving I did round trip to move my stuff on the ONE DAY I had available. The only solution they found was for me to drive an additional 3 hours round trip to pick up another trailer in Pomona. No free trailer rental to cover my time and expenses? Horrible service, wasted my entire weekend and 11 hours of driving, and now I don’t have the help I need to move tomorrow. Thanks a lot Westside Biz/Uhaul/whatever the heck this place is. Maybe you should learn to operate one business correctly, before cramming 3 businesses into a single store .
