They harass people. I understand it is a very small town so they need to entertain themselves but how some of the “young studs” behave is beyond anything. My mom was home visiting friends and family recently and was stopped and told she was not allowed to get back into her rental car. She passed a sobriety test and was still told she had to wait for a friend to pick her up or she’d be arrested. Then the two officers LEFT her alone in the parking lot alone in the middle of the night under a threat that if she even sat in the car she would have her license taken away. So she had to stand in a parking lot at night for 45 mins to get picked up. That is completely unacceptable and dangerous! Not to mention again, harassment by the officers.
