Carol is an AMAZING lawyer! She handled my case with ease while I was a resident of another state (I’m active duty military stationed in SC). I rarely do reviews but I have to share what turned out to be a good ending to a bad story. In June 2021, my husband (together 32 years) abandoned our marriage, home, bills etc and refused to communicate. Shock is an understatement. It was not a healthy relationship and I had realized I had no choice but to divorce. He beat me to it. I won’t get into all the sordid details but I want anyone woman looking for a lawyer that she is phenomenal! I first spent $23,000 at a law firm that got me no where. I realized I had to find somebody else. I am a nurse with my masters degree and often helped women out of situations like mine. But this through me for the biggest loop of my life. I simply could not even think straight. I took all the documents the other lawyer had me gathering. She was quite shocked. She was very upfront about the law, which does stink when somebody you trusted your life with lies and steals. That day she said “hand me over this burden of the legalities. That’s what I am paid for”. This was in November. Up to that point, nothing had been sorted out and I was left paying bills for a 2 income house alone. She quickly organized all the information and discussed facts and options. She helped me weigh the best way to get my life back with minimal financial loss. Within 3 months of working with her it is finally over. I had mediation today and knew exactly what to expect. She approaches with a common sense approach and I believe truly cares for her clients. I walked out today satisfied with the results. And I have a whole new look on life. I almost sunk in many ways, but with God and her help, I overcame. Her staff are also phenomenal!!! She is smart, very detailed oriented and I don’t think anything gets past her. Divorce is always hard but mine was a little extra hard. Her rates were reasonable also. I just can’t say enough. If you are a man or woman looking for a divorce lawyer, get a consultation with her. If you are a woman, I believe you will feel like somebody finally gets it and knows the process is one of the hardest things to go through.
